The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for handling deliveries, pick-ups and shipping of parts and other receivables while engaging in warehouse operations. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the daily administration of the inventory control process. The Warehouse Clerk works 40 hours per week on various shifts with two consecutive days off. Work assignment will require flexible hours including early morning, late night, holidays & weekends.

Stock all parts and receivables in the appropriate warehouse sectionsConduct price and quality surveysProvide counter serviceMaintain a clean and orderly inventory roomMaintain files and records, providing reports as necessaryOrder non-stock parts for repair ordersMonitor re-order levels and replenish inventory to maintain proper inventory levelsHandle deliveries, pick-ups and shippingPerform daily check of consumable inventoryAssist with inventory auditsEnsure proper and safe storage and disposal of fuels, lubricants and all hazardous materialsMaintain cleanliness of warehouse inventory areaIssue parts to maintenance technicians according to work order specificationsMaintain record keeping systems for material inventoriesProcess required forms and reportsMaintain, support and promote a safe work environment while complying with all safety rules, policies and proceduresJob Requirements

Experience in an automated warehouse or inventory control environment desirableInventory control experience is preferredValid Class C Driver's License RequiredMethods, materials, equipment and safety procedures utilized in the maintenance and repair of AC/DCPreferred knowledge of Theories, principles and practices of warehousing, distribution inventory of material, handling and storage of hazardous or construction material and applicable environmental regulations.Abide by Applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations governing environmental concernsHazardous waste handling and storage in a public agency.Automated and manual material handling systemsCommunicated effectively orally and in writingInteract professionally with various levels of employees and outside representativesOperate computers and general office equipmentAnalyze situations, identify problems and recommend solutionsExercise judgment in making decisionsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent; Technical training preferredPrevious vehicle parts room and inventory experience requiredExcellent communication and administrative skillsStrong attention to detailForklift license (preferred) or ability to obtain oneComputer experience and well versed with Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Warehouse Clerk pay rate $18
