Our client, one of the largest freight carriers, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team!
Job Title:Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Location:Grove City, OH
Shift:7:00am - 2:30pm
Pay Range:$16.00 per hour
What's the Job?Assist with warehouse duties such as shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing the orders for processing.Use a pallet jack, hand truck, or dolly to move freight.Take check calls from drivers ensuring that loads will deliver on time.Assembleproducts and participate in inventory counts as needed.Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries verifying that loads have arrived on time and in good condition.What's Needed?
Must be able to lift, push or pull at least 75 poundsPrevious dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industryExperience with using handheld scannersBasic computer, written and verbal skillsAbility to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram formWhat's in it for me?
