This role is for a Classified Linux IT Systems Engineer with a focus on supporting Linux, Kubernetes, containers, and High Performance Computing (HPC) clusters.
Candidates are not expected to have all the desired skills but should be passionate in learning many of the skills listed.System administration of heterogeneous networks using Linux integrated into Windows Server Active Directory DomainsManage operating system cyber compliance, upgrades, and patchingPerform guidance and management for hardware, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on multiple architecturesEnsure the integrity and availability of applications as well as coordinate new application installations, upgrades, and customer support in classified areas.Responsible for implementing effective backup/recovery, resource accounting, and auditing procedures.Gathers system security design requirements with stakeholders and develops architecture.Implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.Full-time onsite role, working the majority of the day in closed areas
