Description:As an Application Support Engineer, you will work closely with numerous business critical Teams, supporting our Products and Services throughout the different stages of the site's lifecycle. An excitingly broad and ever-changing scope facing many different complex issues. Numerous Teams will turn to you when there is a problem that needs to be troubleshot and solved. You will work with all levels of Software, Integration, Field-ops and Network Teams to identify, correct, and resolve any and all issues that come our way.Major Job ResponsibilitiesHandle software deploymentsTest in production after deploymentLevel 2 support (debugging, troubleshooting, RCA)Documentation, managing and maintaining JIRA ticketsContinuous process improvementAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of six years work experience in Software or Application Support Engineering rolesDegree in Computer Science or related Engineering, or additional related work experienceTrack record of excellent Customer Service under high pressureExperience in industries and areas that can bring value to the clean energy spaceFamiliarity with both traditional software and cloud computingTechnology RequirementsLinux Environment and Docker InterfacesDeployment Tools such as AnsibleSEL (RTAC and 735) Software and TroubleshootingDatabase interfaces and creating internal and external APIsMODBUS and DNP3 ProtocolsNetwork Skills and general analyzing skills with WiresharkProficiency navigating GitHubAbout Actalent
