We have a reputation in the construction industry for great pay, exceptional benefits, and steady year-round employment.We are proud to offer exceptional medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, profit sharing, 401K, weekly paychecks, and more KEY ACTIVITIES + Implement Sunroc mission (Building a Better Community) and core values (We Value People, Our Word is Our Bond, Always Give a Full Measure, We Continuously Improve). + Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. + Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. + Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed. + Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes. + Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials. + Perform other related duties as assigned. + Be a dependable team member. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Ability to bend, sit for long periods, and work in the heat. + Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS + Must be 18 years or older + Documentation that proves eligibility to work in the U.S. + Attention and commitment to safety. + Ability to work well with others in a team environment. + A strong work ethic. + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
