Position Summary
As a Product Management Intern at Bristol Myers Squibb, you will work at the intersection of data, research, science, and design to support the development and launch of innovative products that improve patient outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to help drive product strategy and execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesGather and define product requirements based on the strategic vision of the product and the needs of our customersConduct market research identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features based on user needsDevelop and manage product roadmap, clearly articulating the business value to the product team and usersCollaborate with product management, IT, and Research teams to ensure alignment between customer needs, business goals, and product functionalityMonitor and analyze product metrics and customer usage patterns to inform product improvementsCommunicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in on product strategy and roadmapsAssist in the creation of product documentation and user manualsAssist in the coordination of product launches and ongoing product management activitiesQualifications & Experience
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Science, Engineering, or related fieldStrong Business System Analysis skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of product management toolsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsSoftware and system design skillsStrong understanding of Enterprise and Cloud ArchitectureStrong understanding of database technologies and uses (S3, MongoDB, SQL etc.)Must be comfortable interacting with people conducting interviews while gathering information and presentingMust be comfortable with creating and showcasing presentationsMust be comfortable with synthesizing large amounts of vast information from multiple sources without biasAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentFamiliarity with product management methodologies and tools is a plusPassion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $21.00/hour - $29.00/hour. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed. Final individual compensation is decided commensurate with demonstrated experience and education level.
