SENIOR HR CONSULTANT

As a Senior HR Consultant, you'll be part of a strategic team of HR and labor law professionals, serving as a trusted HR advisor by providing strategic and tactical HR guidance to minimize the regulatory exposure of our clients. You'll play a key role in keeping up to date with HR regulatory compliance changes and sharing that newfound knowledge with our clients and internal teams. We're looking for individuals with a proven track record of experience in HR compliance and consulting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide timely, responsive guidance focused on the client's success, ensuring exceptional customer service.Smoothly juggle multiple clients' needs, prioritizing tasks effectively without missing any details.Build trust and credibility with clients and seamlessly switch between clients throughout the day.Strategic Consultations: Provides strategic advice and practical solutions to complex HR related issues to achieve the business and compliance goals of the client's organization and ProService. Conducts compliance and best practices research on behalf of clients. Consultations can range on a variety of topics including but not limited to:HR Best Practices (Hiring, Performance Management, Termination)Claim Mitigation (Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Discrimination)Regulatory Compliance (EEOC, FMLA, etc.)Development of and compliance with company handbook policies and proceduresMinimizes Risk Exposure: Ensures that solutions minimize risk exposure to regulatory actions and lawsuits. Assists with workplace investigations responding to internal and external complaints, responds to complaints from agencies including but not limited to EEOC, HCRC, DLIR, DOL. Proactively assist clients in minimizing their exposure to claims that may lead to litigation and increase costs to our EPLI insurance policy.Partners with various cross-functional teams (Account Managers, Operations, Sales) to support client solutions.Constant learning and application of current HR best practices, and creativity in delivering HR that ensures high-impact outcomes.WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

10-12+ years HR Experience in consulting, compliance, or management is requiredPrior experience working with multiple industries, with varying levels of leadership within an organization (C-suite, Small Business Owners, Front Line Supervisors, etc.) is required.Certifications including SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP are a plus.Deep care for customer service.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.For HR Consultant team members who hold a law degree and are also Staff Attorneys: You will provide internal legal services on behalf of ProService, including contract reviews, drafting legal documents, and other legal work as requested. Must have a law degree from an accredited university and be admitted to the Hawaii bar.The base compensation for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications.
