We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Litho Flexo Grafics facility in Sandy, UT. This position requires interacting with operations and management regarding the discussion and decision analysis of site level financial information. Must have excellent analytical skills and solid knowledge of US GAAP financial accounting principles, which will facilitate performance of accounting duties that minimize the financial risk of the company. The position also requires working closely with staff at sister companies to ensure intercompany accounts are balanced each month.

Responsibilities

Financial performance improvement engine. Find, research, discover, and work with all departments to transform opportunities into tangible value improvement. Understand revenue & revenue drivers, costs & cost drivers, value add vs. waste, and how to engage cross-functional teams to eliminate wastes / non-value-add activities, improving financial performance, and better serving shareholders, customers, and employees.

Impeccable financial capture, analysis, and reporting vehicle. Interacting with operations and management, including analysis of financial data for decision-making. Responsibilities include collecting, entering, researching, analyzing, and/or reporting financials, customer billing and collections, GL journal entries, daily job costs, general ledger accounts, annual budgets, financial controls, and supporting year-end financial audits.

Qualifications1 to 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, including cost accounting analysisStrong understanding of US GAAP financial accounting principlesExperience preparing and analyzing general ledger account reconciliationsExperience with intercompany transactions and reconciliation of sameThorough understanding of financial applications, ensuring that all financial data is secure and complies with confidentiality policiesMust possess excellent typewritten, written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyEstablished skills in accuracy, organization, meeting deadlines and working in a high-volume environmentDemonstrated ability to support other departments within the companyEducation Requirements

4-year degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.Graduate degree, CMA, CPA a plus (but not required)Software and Information Systems Requirements

Experience using ERP systems a plus, including AP, AR, GL, inventoryExcellent Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPointStrong data entry skills
