About the Company:A leading alternative asset management firm with a global presence and a focus on delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns for its investors.About the Role:This role involves building and maintaining relationships with investment consultants in North America to support fundraising efforts for a leading alternative asset management firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the firm's market presence and identifying new business opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Develop and enhance relationships with investment consultant partners.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through the consultant channel.Maintain and expand core relationships with existing consultant relationships.Execute annual consultant coverage plan for the region.Engage with a wide range of consultant roles (research, field consultants, OCIO platform, senior management).Coordinate with the broader client coverage team to enhance relationships and identify new business opportunities.Assist with cohesive consultant coverage through tactical servicing and strategic relationship building.Stay updated on industry trends, client needs, and competitor activity.Develop and present investment solutions to consultants.Attend industry conferences and events to promote the firm's brand and expand the network.Required Skills and Experience:At least 5-7 years of experience in alternatives fundraising, with a focus on North American consultant relationships.Proven track record of supporting the fundraising process and meeting targets.Strong knowledge of alternatives, particularly public and private credit investment strategies.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term consultant relationships.Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.In our company values we aim for equity at all stages of the recruitment process, please let us know if we can do anything to make the process more accessible to you.With a team of 180 and growing every day, Goodman Masson is London’s specialist Finance and Technology recruitment business.
