Forvis Mazars’ Forensic & Valuation leadership team takes pride in creating and maintaining a supportive and respectful environment for our team members.How you will contribute:Assisting with the preparation of business valuation models in ExcelApplying technical skills needed to research and analyze industry, transactional, and economic information.Participating in management interviews, either onsite or via teleconference.Assisting with the drafting of business valuation reports in WordAssisting with mathematical testing related to quality control proceduresDelivering Forvis Mazars’ commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:Effective time managementStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work well with a team as well as independentlyProblem-solving attitudeWillingness to take initiativeClose attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and against deadlinesGood organizational skillsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college/universitySome travel may be requiredPreferred Qualifications:GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)Desire or the ability to sit for the CPA examDesire to obtain the Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credentialsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteApplicants for positions with F orvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.New York City Pay TransparencyPursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.New York Salary Range:NY Minimum Salary (USD)$ 75,000NY Maximum Salary (USD)$ 75,000
