Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projectsResponsible for all aspects of complex small to medium projects or routine large projectsProduce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrentlyConduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholdersCoordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on scheduleEstablish owner/client and internal meetings, and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceManage workload of team members through multiple phases to complete documents on scheduleReview architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplinesPerform QA/QC and technical reviewsWrite and edit architectural specificationsCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change ordersIncorporate agreed-upon changes into project documentsLead projects in a dual role as neededProvide construction contract administration as neededPerform other duties as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related fieldA minimum of 10 years experienceRegistered Architect (Hawaii licensure preferred)Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule)Excellent written and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processDemonstrated graphic presentation skillsMust have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specificationsStrong knowledge of codes and good planning skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in ArchitectureExperience supporting Federal projects, Pacific areas preferredExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not requiredKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max but not requiredRhino and Grasshopper experienceWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
