Starting Compensation

Annual Salary: $70,000.00 - $86,400.00 (Amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies)

SEC Reporting Accountant

will perform and deliver on routine assignments and projects including the preparation of certain complex monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. This role will be responsible for supporting the timely preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements, as well as assisting the team with technical accounting research and documentation. This position reports to the Senior Manager, SEC Reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in the preparation, supporting documentation, tie out, and filing of Forms 10-Q quarterly reports and Form 10-K annual reports to the SEC, including the preparation of the financial statements, related footnotes, non-significant entity cashflow statements and Management’s Discussion and Analysis.Performs quarterly closing and reporting tasks including preparing account reconciliation, roll-forward, and other schedules.Performs monthly closing and reporting tasks relating to stock-based compensation, EPS calculation.Performs internal controls over journal entries over LTI accounting, financial reporting and other processes as needed.Assists in the various reporting projects such as quarterly earnings press release process, equity related reports for proxy statements, etc.Performs other duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's

FIELD OF STUDY:

Accounting

EXPERIENCE:

1 years of relevant experience working in a public accounting or in SEC reporting or financial reporting

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

Fast learner with ability to replicate schedules using existing prior period examples.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong MS office skills including Excel (lookup, pivot table), PowerPoint, WordBasic knowledge of SOX/ICFR and process controls

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CERTIFICATION(S):

CPA

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

Experience with accounting for equity related transactions (share-based compensation, award grant/exercise)Experience with preparing cashflow statements.Experience using Workday financials, OfficeConnect, Wdesk
