Part-Time Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist (Long Term Contract)We are seeking an immediate need of a Payroll Specialist for a well-known Entertainment company in West LA. The Payroll Specialist will take direction from the Payroll Director to process payroll for the bi-weekly payroll system.Responsibilities:Timely and accurate completion of weekly, bi-weekly and quarterly time and attendance tracking and data entryManually entering hours into PaycomAssisting with audits and cross check payroll processesAssisting with end-user training for new hires, timekeepers, and cost center managersResearching reported Clock IssuesMonitoring employee status changes and the impact on their benefitsResponding to employee e-mails and phone callsPerforming other duties as assignedYou are the perfect person if you have the following skills:3+ years of payroll experienceProficient with Microsoft OfficePaycom software is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task, adapt to changes and continuously exceed or meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and accuracy is a mustInteract effectively with multiple levels of management within the organizationWork independently and collaborativelyKnowledge of wage and hour regulations, tax laws affecting payroll, and regulations on processing withholding and support ordersThis is a long-term contract position and is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking to continue their payroll career within the Entertainment industry.Pursuant to the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Pay Details:
