Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.We have an exceptional opportunity for an Area Water Resources Market Sector Leader, focused on developing and delivering water resource management programs and projects. The successful candidate will also support water resource initiatives related to drinking water, wastewater, and water reuse. This role includes both program development and project delivery responsibilities to manage and create detailed designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.The candidate will also be responsible for client management while collaborating with business development teams to identify and develop opportunities and pursuits. Services provided may include planning, design, financial analysis, O&M, and alternative delivery.Additional Responsibilities:Engage in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews; includes championing and leading pursuits as well as developing submittals.Function as Project Manager and take responsibility for producing deliverables in addition to management responsibilities.Be directly involved with private and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues.See that all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through proactive project management system.Implement, monitor, and support company policy.Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.Perform other duties as needed.Required Qualifications:A minimum of 15 years of experience in project management.Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.Texas PE or ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months of hire.Experienced in development and management of strategic marketing programs for engineering services.Good communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills.Must be experienced in development and management of diverse technical teams.Ability to work cooperatively with Technical Directors, Market Sector Directors, Business Class Directors, Regional Business Group Director, Area Business Group Managers, Marketing Managers and Area Managers.Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and quality improvement.Ability to travel to client/project meetings/sites within the North Texas Area.Ability to travel to industry organization events/conferences within the US.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn’t only about who you work for it’s also about what you do and how you do it.
