The role owner will be an exceptional team player and client-focused individual. This individual will establish new relationships and manage existing relationships to generate new Assets Under Management (AUM) and Gross Revenue.As our Relationship Manager you will:Combine client relationship management with strong risk assessment and management capabilities ensuring the required credit quality & requisite returns on risk.Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.Be a core part of our team, originating target market clients focused on investment AUM, lending, and Advisory services from own network.Grow revenues across allocated portfolio, successfully manage and serve existing business relationships and originate new revenue streams.Grow HSBC’s share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with HNW and UHNW client requirements.Establish and maintain networks for co-operation with other HSBC businesses, to support the creation of solutions to customer needs that span geographical/product boundaries and regulatory environments.QualificationsAt least 5 years of relationship management experience in the banking or wealth management sector.Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth, and revenue generation.Excellent commercial and negotiation skills, strong customer service focus.Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving.Excellent understanding of financial markets and products, ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis.Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems.Series 7 and 63 licenses, may allow for contingency to obtain Series 7 and 63.Bachelor’s Degree required.In compliance with applicable laws, HSBC is committed to employing only those who are authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. as HSBC will not engage in immigration sponsorship for this position.As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow.
