Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Travel & Events Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will have responsibility for the planning and coordination of all Travel and Events related to North America. Work closely with our Travel Management company in regard to the day-to-day operations, ensuring policy compliance, vendor relations as well as main contact and support for all things related to travel in North America, i.e. Concur travel support, corporate card program administrator, event planning, contract review and payment.
Reports to Corporate Travel Director, Workplace Resources.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for sourcing group meetings & events for Cadence groups of 10 or more participants that may include:
Hotel sleeping rooms
Hotel meeting rooms
Audio-visual requirements
Food & beverage
Team building events
Transportation
Air manifest
Other meeting & event planning that may include:
Team lunch or dinner reservations
Team building events
Transportation
Concur Travel & Expense:
Administration functions
Reconciliation / payment functions
Customer Care Workplace Resources Rep:
Feedback collection from the customers and process improvement recommendations. Establish an effective communication channel to collect employee requirements, expectations and feedback and provide reporting or findings.
American Express Corporate Card:
Administration functions
Reconciliation / payment functions
Requirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Negotiation skills
Understanding travel/ hospitality / meeting event industry
Sabre GDS
The annual salary range for California is $105,000 to $195,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. Our benefits programs include: paid vacation and paid holidays, 401(k) plan with employer match, employee stock purchase plan, a variety of medical, dental and vision plan options, and more.
