We are searching for an enthusiastic and innovative Children's Programming Sales Director to oversee all aspects of our children's programming. The biggest emphasis in this role will be pushing revenue and sales. As the Children's Programming Director at Elite Sports Clubs, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supervising a wide range of programs and activities designed to promote physical activity, learning, and fun for children. You will be involved in outreach to gain momentum in our programming. You will lead a team of dedicated staff members to create memorable experiences and foster a sense of community among our youngest members.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive children's programming strategy, including classes, camps, workshops, and special events, tailored to the needs and interests of children of all ages.
Drive sales and revenue in all kids programming, with summer camp being the biggest initiative.
Collaborate with department managers and staff members to design and execute high-quality programs that promote physical fitness, skill development, creativity, and social interaction.
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise children's program instructors and staff members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellence in program delivery.
Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols and promoting positive behavior and cooperation.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and their families, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Manage program budgets, expenses, and revenue goals, seeking opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability while delivering exceptional value to members.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to children's programming, incorporating new ideas and innovations into program offerings as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Recreation, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in children's programming or related field, with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Strong knowledge of child development principles, age-appropriate activities, and educational strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and staff members.
Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children and promoting their growth and development.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Availability:
Flexibility in schedule, including availability to work nights and weekends as needed to oversee children's programming and events.
