Description
Everi is currently seeking a Principal Math Director to support our game development teams. If you have a passion for Math, slot games, and leading the talented people who create the best games in Casino Gaming, we want to talk to you!This position is a hybrid role located in Austin, Las Vegas, or Reno.
What Will You Be Doing?Responsible for overseeing all math design and production projects.
Drive and uphold the quality of math design, ensuring alignment with product vision and sound math design principles.
Prepare project staffing estimates; monitor project status and skill requirements, ensuring appropriate resource levels and mix of competencies among staff.
Direct and implement new product systems and features through all stages of conception, design, design review, and implementation.
Direct the department in solving math design and production issues as they arise; implement creative solutions for complex problems.
Oversee the prioritization of projects while enabling efficient development cycles.
Review, analyze, and report on key metrics during the product development phase.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.
5+ years of experience in a math role; gaming or slot experience preferred.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor a team of people.
Exceptional knowledge and experience with probability mathematics.
Exceptional understanding and knowledge of product design processes and requirements.
Demonstrated ability to implement best practices and manage multiple projects across teams.
Proven ability to motivate people, instill accountability, and achieve results.
