ABOUT THIS POSITION

This position will provide technical leadership for new therapy and technology development of medical device solutions for treating obstructive sleep apnea and other unmet clinical needs.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

Lead technology and therapy development efforts to optimize therapy response to upper airway stimulation for treatment of obstructive sleep apnea

Identify clinical needs to improve outcomes & treatment efficiency for obstructive sleep apnea treatment including patient selection, operative techniques and post-implant care

Develop therapy and technology solutions by conducting pre-clinical and clinical feasibility studies

Generate peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations to support therapy adoption

Protect intellectual properties by filing patent applications

Support clinical study procedures at investigation sites, including device implant and therapy titration procedures

Participate in next generation product development efforts in partnership with new product planning, development, and regulatory teams

Support training of new employees and new customers

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:

B.S. degree with 10+ related experience; OR M.S. degree with 7+ years of experience; OR PhD with 5+ years of related experience

Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the medical device industry or sleep apnea research field

Preferred:

10+ years of experience with implanted neuromodulation therapy research

M.S. degree with 9+ years of experience; OR PhD with 7+ years of related experience
