We are looking for a React Front-End Developer at the intersection of design and technology, creating modern scalable digital experiences. They breathe life into designs, developing interactive web-based experiences with thoughtful, efficient, and performant architecture. Using client-side technologies (and front-end tools/frameworks), they build the user interface tier of custom business applications, corporate websites, emails, landing pages, and attention-grabbing digital experiences. This position is able to work remotely.

What You’ll DoBuild React-based experiences including technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery and CSS pre-processors like SASS and LESSWrite clean, semantic, maintainable front-end experiencesDeploy your applications to production environmentsWork directly with client and partner development teams to co-create/deliver solutions togetherAdvise on technical considerations and dependencies regarding risks, opportunities, efficiency, and maintainabilityAdvise on project plans, estimates, and dependencies of front-end tasks

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in React front-end web development, leveraging HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and similar responsive frameworksSignificant experience designing web solutions from the ground up as well as taking over and analyzing existing work productAn understanding of client-side coding patterns and practices for writing performant, secure apps and accessible experiencesExperience with modern device and browser capabilities and constraintsFamiliarity with atomic design and how it’s applied in web applicationsPrevious experience using tools for source control, build, and release processesAn awareness of how to use bug tracking systems such as Jira or similarMid to senior level experience in implementing and extending API hooks into front-end JavaScript codeAn excellent communicator in English. Both verbal communication (standups, sprint planning, incident investigation calls) and written communication (emails, Slack, technical documentation) especially when communicating with project and program managersAbility to work both independently as well as part of a team in an Agile / Scrum environmentAbility to function well in a high-volume, fast-changing work environment and the ability to work on multiple time-critical issuesAgency experience is strongly preferred
