Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Division Product Manager! Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today!Responsibilities

Evaluate product lines, manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, terms of purchase, promotional support, purchase rebates and discounts, monitor region/location performance, and assist or be directly involved in purchasing commodity wood products in support of location product managers. Advise and guide branches on market conditions, forecasting, inventory management, margin improvement, and coordinate block buys to leverage scale. Maintain Division SKU file on assigned product lines. Assist with training of Location Product Managers, support margin improvement goals, turns, GMROI targets, and baseline measurements. Responsible for expanding vendor relationships and growing location sales, with a primary focus on OSB products.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function. Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion.Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of product, production, and industry; five (5) years of experience in commodity wood products purchasing or lumber-related purchasing and/or sales or general line product management in the building materials industry. BMD location experience is a plus.Benefits
