We are seeking a

Creative Project Coordinator

to join the Common Ground USA team to oversee all creative projects. This role requires expertise in project management, leadership, and coordination, along with an excellent creative vision that supports CG USA's mission to transform violence into cooperation. The selected candidate will support projects themed around community engagement and social innovation, covering regions across the United States.The need for a Creative Project Coordinator arises from the rapid growth of Common Ground USA over the past year, during which numerous new projects have been launched. This expansion has highlighted the necessity for additional technical support to elevate our Public Affairs efforts to the next level as we are working on a few national campaigns. As the team has expanded, the complexity and volume of projects have increased, necessitating expertise in creative project management to ensure seamless coordination and effective execution. The Creative Project Coordinator will provide specialized skills that are currently in need of support within the team. They will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners.Objectives of the assignment

Plan, implement, and track multiple creative projects from conception to completion.Develop project scopes and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility and stakeholder involvement.Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.Create creative briefs for projects and effectively communicate about each project.Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.Track and analyze project performance, managing changes, minimizing risks, and reporting on project status.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, reports, and status updates.Provide regular updates to senior management.Ensure all creative outputs align with brand guidelines.Facilitate brainstorming sessions and creative meetings.Monitor industry trends and incorporate best practices.Assist in the development of creative strategies and concepts.Evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement.Expected results

Successfully oversee deployment of our creative campaign(s) launching this fall.Prepare a project coordination after action summary to help us prepare for 2025 public affairs strategies and build upon our 2024 campaigns.Expert profile

Education: High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification.Proven track record as a Creative Project Manager or in a comparable role driving creative initiatives.A nuanced comprehension of political violence, conflict resolution, and interconnected socio-political dynamics, viewed through a creative lens.Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.Proficiency in using project management tools and multimedia tools.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Criteria

Consultants submitting proposals for the Creative Project Coordinator position will be evaluated based on their alignment with the project's goals and objectives, demonstrating how their vision and approach meet the specific needs of the project. Additionally, the consultant's qualifications, including their academic and professional background, relevant experience in managing creative projects, and a proven track record of similar successful projects, will be assessed. The proposed budget will also be reviewed for cost-effectiveness, with a detailed breakdown ensuring it aligns with the scope of work and expected outcomes. The overall quality of the proposal, including its clarity, organization, and thoroughness, will also be considered. Proposals will be scored based on these criteria to select the most qualified consultant for the Creative Project Coordinator position.Duration of the assignment
