**IT Support Specialist**DOT Dallas, Texas Minimum Experience **Manager/Supervisor** JLAN Solutions has an immediate opening for an IT Support Specialist at the senior level, supporting our Department of Transportation client. Successful applicants will support and lead a desktop tier-2 engineering team whilst supporting all customer requests and concerns. This position is located in Dallas, Texas.*In accordance with Federal guidance, all newly hired full-time and part-time employees of JLAN Solutions are required to be fully vaccinated by date of hire (fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks since your final dose). Mandatory vaccinations support our commitment to making our workplace and associated facilities as safe and welcoming as possible.*Key Responsibilities:* Performs day-to-day activities required to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to end users* Include, move/add/change of end user equipment* Perform software install and upgrades* Provide general troubleshooting and problem resolution.* Complete requests for technology refresh (replacement and upgrade of current desktops or laptops).* General Desktop Engineering/Customer support activitiesRequirements:* Must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience providing IT Hardware and Software Deployment, Troubleshooting, and Problem Resolution support to end users* Customer service and communication skills* Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 7, 10* Understanding of Smart cards / PIV cards* Experience with Office 365, VPN, Active Directory, Thin Client* Provide Remote Tool Support* Conference Room / VTC Setups* HDI Desktop Tech* ITIL V4* Active Clearance or able to obtain a Public Trust ClearanceSALARY: Negotiable depending on experience and education level.
