Private Equity Associate/Senior Associate

A well established Private Equity firm in the DMV region is looking to expand their team at the Associate and Senior Associate level. The firm invest with a Generalist approach and performs buyout investments with LMM organizations. The firm has some of the best tenure in the business, pays a competitive compensation, and offers a career track type role. Due to the size of the organization Associates/Senior Associates get to take on ample responsibility and wear many hats. If this seems of interest to you, you're open to 2024 opportunities, and you meet the below requirements, please apply!Responsibilities:Diligence and execute private equity investment opportunities and transactions across various industriesInvestment sourcing and evaluation including building and managing sourcing channels, deal flow, and helping prioritize transaction pipeline.Financial modeling including analysis of financial statements, valuations, returns, and competitive ratiosCreate investment presentations and transactions memos regarding new investment opportunitiesEvaluate and monitor the ongoing performance of portfolio company investmentsParticipate in fund raising presentations and marketingRequirements:A minimum of 2 years of Investment Banking experience required for the Associate position (ideally M&A banking)4 years of Investment Banking and/or Private Equity experience for the Senior Associate positionBachelors degree from an accredited universityStrong modeling and analytical skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsA desire to live and work in the DMV region
