Responsibilities:

Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan opened in 2017 as a beautiful and state of the art 65-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a Director of Human Resources position.

The Director of Human Resources oversees all functions of the Human Resources Department in accordance with approved administrative policies of Cedar Creek Hospital. The HRD leads or facilitates programs for effective benefits administration, recruiting, orientation/training, wage/salary administration, employee relations and general welfare for all hospital employees. Serves to counsel management in establishing Human Resources policies and procedures necessary to fulfill objectives of Cedar Creek Hospital.

Schedule:

The Director of Human Resources is a Full Time, Day Shift, Exempt Salary Basis. The position reports directly to the hospital CEO and is a member of the hospital senior leadership team. As a member of the senior leadership team, the HRD operates on site at our location in St. Johns, MI.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required, with an emphasis in Human Resources preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources Management.

Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
