Our goal is to empower all people to find inspiration in learning new things and gaining diverse perspectives.The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the overall Social Media strategy across all Woodward Camps social media accounts and platforms.As a member of the Woodward Camps Marketing and Sales Team, reporting directly to the Director of Woodward Camps Marketing, the Social Media Manager will bring to life the Woodward brand through various Social Media channels, campaigns, community management, social copy writing, and social media paid advertising with a goal to build Woodward’s social community, increase brand affinity, and drive conversion into Woodward products.This role is a key member of the Woodward Camps Marketing and Sales Team as they collaborate with key stakeholders across departments at Woodward PA, Woodward West, and Woodward Global.This role is preferably based in Park City, UT, with regular travel to Woodward PA and Woodward West during the summer months.This is a full-time year-round position with a robust benefits package including Flexible Time Off, matching 401k, Health Benefits, Annual Bonus Incentive Program, and more.The proposed annual salary is $65,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Social Media:
Assist in the development of the overall Woodward Social Media Strategy. Play an integral role in the development and execution of a social strategy that will:Introduce the Woodward brand and portfolio of Camp product offerings to our target audiences.Establish relevance and credibility within these audiences and channels.Leverage platforms within the channel to create demand (consumer pull) that translates to Camp registrations.Plan, document, and execute the Social Media strategy and calendar across multiple Woodward locations, Woodward PA and Woodward West, and Sport specific accounts. Be able to review social media metrics and adjust plans weekly. Own communication and reporting plan and process that advises internal constituents of the plans progress towards leading and lagging KPIs and illustrates adjustments and course corrections.Own community management across assigned Social Media accounts. Respond to all comments, direct messages, and paid advertisements within Woodward’s social standards.Manage and write social media copy to ensure messaging consistency for each campaign beat and align social media content to website & email.Must be able to combine copy with relevant assets to tell the story behind Woodward Marketing and Sales campaigns in an effective way with Woodward’s social media audience.Must have in-depth knowledge across Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok.Be able to stay up to date on current Social Media Industry trends and best practices. Be able to bring new ideas to the team and adapt social media execution to achieve Woodward goals.Create and deploy Woodward’s strategy for high-priority platform initiatives. Identify how Woodward will relaunch Across TikTok and Snapchat.Ensure that Social Media marketing strategies align with the various Woodward Camps Marketing and Sales Channels.Content
Learn the production process and assist in all shoots in the off-season and during summer camp.Be able to capture social media grade content and catalog within Woodward file storage processes.Acting production assistant for branded content, with heightened responsibilities during camp period.Contribute to the Annual Go-to-Market Plan
Identify innovative and on-brand opportunities to bring the camp story to life across Social Media channels.Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate these opportunities into the annual go-to-market plan.Ensure that marketing initiatives align with the overall brand strategy and messaging.Other Marketing or Woodward related duties as assigned
Assist with hosting visiting professional athletes, VIPs, and Media personnel when necessary.Personal Attributes

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with Social Media marketing and community management preferably in the sports, camps, hospitality or events industry.Expertise and/or familiarity with emerging trends in youth culture and/or youth content consumption, and/or familiarity with skateboarding, BMX, Scooter, Parkour, Roller Skate and summer-based action sports in general.Previous experience and ability to work in an environment with children preferred.Proven track record in delivering on marketing objectives.Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced environment, often with changing priorities and simultaneous deadlines.Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, and work as part of a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote, Teams), Zoom, Keynote, content management systems, Social Media platforms, and marketing tools/software.Passionate about living an action sports and adventure lifestyle (Woodward and Powdr brands).
