Social Media Coordinator

Join a fun team and work across digital and social media platforms using your creativity and audience engagement skills to support diverse causes across the nation. Responsibilities will focus on writing and creating newsletters, and social content. This role works closely with our development team and is also a client-facing role.Details of Responsibilities: Writing monthly newsletters for three publications. Supporting the development team in writing promotional material. Updating website content and stories Developing and executing social media content across various social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn). Creating and managing a social media calendar & plan content alignment to holidays, special campaigns, and fundraising strategies. Managing social media channels - daily posting schedule, content, and community management. Use social media marketing tools to schedule posts and analyze the performance of social media posts/campaigns. Provide monthly social performance reporting. Using data and insights, along with research and competitor data, to inform strategy and content development. Continually stay-up-to-date on the latest social media trends, algorithm updates, and best practices and integrate that knowledge into our strategies.Skills and Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in writing engaging content. Experience managing, engaging, and growing social media platforms. Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn. Demonstrated creative ability to produce engaging content. Good verbal and written communication as it applies to social media. Keen attention to detail. Working knowledge of social analyticsMeme creation experience a plus.
