Senior Aquatics Director

The Senior Aquatics Director oversees the development and operations of aquatics programs, as defined by budget size, staff count, and program scope and scale. As a Senior Aquatics Director, you are responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating employees and volunteers to ensure staff are representative of the mission of the YMCA. Individuals in this role are expected to provide a quality experience to members focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the Aquatics team and manage aquatics operations with celebration and service.
Responsible for staff development, administration, fiscal management, connecting members, and program development.
Provide an impactful staff experience by recruiting and hiring, training and developing, supervising, and evaluating employees and volunteers to ensure staff are representative of the mission of the YMCA.
Meet performance measurement through annual giving, major gifts, and/or endowment by telling the Y story and raising charitable dollars to fulfill our mission.
Qualifications:
You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
You have a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent knowledge that includes supervision, fiscal management, program development, staff, and volunteer development.

You can manage and develop staff and volunteer teams.
You are organized, proactive, and know how to get things done.
You have current Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen certifications.
Compensation:
$67,724.80 to $69,724.80 per year, depending on qualifications
Hours:
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
