We have contributed to the algorithms driving FaceID and FaceKit in the past and more recently to the new Apple Vision Pro and Spatial Computing. As a member of the Video Computer Vision group, you will perform cutting-edge artificial intelligence research that will craft the future of spatial computing. We are looking for the right 3D Computer Vision and Machine Learning Engineer to help us take our efforts to the next level. The ideal candidate should have experience with 3DCV, rendering techniques, and machine learning and be passionate about bringing algorithms from research all the way to product. In this position, you will work alongside computer vision and machine learning researchers to implement world-class algorithms that push the state of the art and resonate with our users at a personal level.Minimum QualificationsProficient in C/C++, CUDA or other GPGPUExpertise in at least one deep learning framework, e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JaxSolid foundation in 3D graphics and computer visionUnderstanding of machine learning technologyStrong programming, debugging, and design skillsPassion for cutting-edge AI and spatial computing technologies and product deliveryAbility to work independently and with othersExcellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsBachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experiencePreferred QualificationsSwift is a plusAdditional RequirementsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
