weaver.com .Position ProfileWeaver is looking for a Senior Associate to join our Tax Investment Funds practice. The Senior Associate will be responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services for investment partnerships and related management entities. This individual will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide financial service knowledge and experience while building and managing client relationships.Education and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting; or Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/universityTeam orientation and strong interpersonal skillsCPA candidate required, CPA preferred2 – 4+ years of investment partnership tax experience, including preparation of allocation schedules, Schedules K-1, Forms 1065 and related other related schedulesWorking knowledge of alternative investment vehicles and structures, including hedge funds and private equity fundsThorough understanding of the tax implications associated with financial productsWeaver BenefitsAt Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people. Our goal is to balance both high development with high performance to meet the long-term goals of each individual, team, and our firm.Annual Base Pay Range in California and the New York City Metropolitan Area: $90,000 to $110,000Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.People are our formula!
