Our challenges are unique, so we hope you are comfortable in uncharted territory and passionate about building systems to support products across a variety of industries and consumer/enterprise clients.Duties:Develop high-performance and low-latency products to verify results and provide reliability for in-game playWrite Rust code that is sophisticated, fast, and readable for complex data science infrastructureDesign core backend software components and code primarily using RustBuild internal and external tools to support Swish’s live trading platformSource origins of data inaccuracies through data pipeline dependencies and Python code baseUse extensive experience to build, test, debug, and deploy production-grade componentsProactively improve our Rust and Python codebaseConduct production model feature deep dives to explain project market linesRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar majorMinimum of 1 year of software engineering experience with Rust; 3 years preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable production systemsData extraction, wrangling, and analysis in PythonStrong SQL querying skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativePreferred:Experience with Apache Kafka and comparable systemsExposure to the data science process and tech stackDeep knowledge of football, basketball, or baseball, including roster compositions of professional and college teams, general gameplay strategies, and typical in-game scenariosSwish Analytics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
