of the Connected Aircraft, Flight Deck, and Maintainer products. This product suite helps to

enable the free movement of people across the planet —and through that, human connection. Our customers entrust us with the communication and operational tools for their fleets and with their businesses. Our Connected Aviation Solutions (CAS) business unit is currently

leading the Connected Ecosystem strategic pillar for Collins Aerospace.

As the

Value Stream Leader (VSL)

for Collins Aerospace's GlobalConnect product lines, you will

spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge connectivity solutions

designed to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and passenger experience for airlines globally. GlobalConnect offers a comprehensive suite of services, including in-flight Wi-Fi, real-time operational data, maintenance monitoring, and advanced analytics.

You will be responsible for driving product success in a market with an estimated total addressable value of $580 million over the next 10 years.

This role requires a

strategic leader who can manage a diverse, cross-functional team , oversee product development, and ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of aviation technology. The VSL has

responsibilities for product line sustainment, enhancement, and modernization of our End-to-End networks.

This role is Hybrid (3 days/week on site) based in Annapolis, Maryland.

What You Will Do:

Product Management:

Lead the strategy, vision, development, and execution of product roadmaps, including defining scope, epics, definition of ‘done’, backlog grooming, and prioritization of features/stories that guide an Agile development team/process.

Cross-functional Leadership:

Lead the Integrated Product Team (IPT) for products within their portfolio.

Roadmap Development:

Define and drive the solution roadmap for GlobalConnect products, ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands.

Strategy & Direction:

Develop and implement strategic plans to maintain and improve market position.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, engineering, support, and channel partners, to drive product initiatives.

Go-To-Market Strategies:

Provide strategic guidance and support the development and execution of comprehensive go-to-market strategies.

Executive Engagement:

Conduct regular business reviews with executive leadership, providing updates on product performance and pivotal initiatives.

Sales & Channel Enablement:

Provide guidance on commercial strategies and support to sales and channel teams, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to sell and support GlobalConnect products effectively to drive revenue and sales targets.

Technology Integration:

Engage with technology leaders and 3rd party vendors to drive integrations and partnerships that improve product capabilities.

Market Analysis:

Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to advise product decisions.

Financial Management:

Accountable for oversight and management of the product P&L’s (monitoring, managing, and reporting on budget each month).

Product Performance:

Accountable for the entire performance of the products and leads the decision-making for the IPT applying critical thinking where incomplete data exists.

Effective Communication:

Develop and maintain internal and external cadence for communicating product vision to IPT, stakeholders, and customers.

Travel:

Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience

or

an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

or

in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Experience managing product performance, profitability, execution, and lifecycle management for aviation technology solutions within a defined timeframe and budget.

Experience leading/participating in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) working with cross-functional teams (product, sales, engineering, support, etc.) in a multi-functional environment.

Experience working in a relevant connectivity or aviation data domain role at an airline, OEM, or aerospace supplier, such as a connectivity engineer, avionics specialist, operational reliability manager, or similar.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Master’s Degree

Direct work experience in an airline/aerospace OEM operational unit.

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in French.

Conflict management/resolution skills.

Project management skills with the ability to lead both tactical and strategic initiatives.

Organizational skills with ability to multi-task amidst a rapidly changing environment.

Drives obligations to closure with precision to benefit the organization and every constituent.

Experience with presenting across the organization, including senior management and executives.

Identifies root causes of problems, secures relevant information, and identifies robust and sustainable solutions.

Applies critical thinking to evaluate courses of actions and reaches sound business decisions even when information is incomplete or missing.

The salary range for this role is 130,000 USD - 272,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
