Position Description
CGI Federal is seeking a Management Analyst II to support EOIR/BIA in Falls Church, VA.
This position is located in Falls Church, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Supports DOJ's Executive Office for Immigration Review-Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). BIA is the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws. It is authorized up to 21 Board Members, including the Chairman and Vice Chairman who share responsibility for BIA management. The BIA is located at EOIR headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. Generally, the BIA does not conduct courtroom proceedings - it decides appeals by conducting a 'paper review' of cases.
This Management Analyst II position supports EOIR - BIA by assisting with processing invoices received from the 7-15 transcription vendors BIA utilizes and assists the client with budget forecasting. The future member will be working in a fast-paced environment and have a direct impact on immigration processing for the entire Nation.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Assists BIA transcription unit with vendor management and cost analysis
Compiles case load statistics and other data associated with unit performance in consultation with or on behalf of the client
Contacts vendors to resolve identified discrepancies as directed
Provides budget forecasting and associated data/graphics upon request
Utilizes vendor management and case tracking databases to conduct queries
Works with government staff to process and review invoices from multiple vendors on both transcription and certification contracts
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Strong Analytical and Deductive Reasoning
Great communication
Attention to detail
Additional Requirements: Must be able to pass a CGI Federal background investigation Must be able to obtain a DOJ MRPT clearance Must be US Citizen
Hourly Rate:
$28.79/hour
Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
