Data Scientist III

to join our team in the

DMV area . We have opportunities in the

Washington, DC area

as well as

Northern Virginia and Maryland . If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Manages data science strategy and implementation effortsRemain engaged with the broader data science community and stay up to date with the latest breakthroughs in research and industry, incorporating new data science tradecraft into their areas of responsibility as they see fitServes as the data science authority within their assigned projects and programs. Their hands-on expertise enables them to oversee the development of new models and/or optimize existing models across datasets that include, but are not limited to, text, speech, images, and videoSupervises and mentors subordinate project staff. They collaborate with other Data Scientist IIIsBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in a STEM fieldFive or more (5+) years of related experienceIf a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are requiredIf a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are requiredHold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order:

CCNA-SecurityCySA+GICSPGSECSecurity+ CECNDSSCP

Preferred Qualifications:Masters degree in computer science or related fieldVendor tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements; e.g., Oracle and MongoClearance Requirements:This role requires an active

TS/SCI clearancePhysical Requirements:Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the timeMust be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnelConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computerThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
