SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERKJOB SUMMARYLOCATION: GROSSE POINTE, MIHOURS: MONDAY - FRIDAY 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM - 1 HOUR FOR LUNCH DAILY
RESULT STATEMENT:To ensure that incoming materials are received and shipped in order to fulfill customer orders on time.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:This position reports to: Inventory Manager
POSITION:Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM - 7:30 PMHourly Rate: $20 - $22/hourMedical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, and a 401k match up to 4%
TACTICAL WORK:
Must have experience setting up domestic and international freight.Often, orders ship via freight daily.Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Package orders and prepare for shippingSign off on units in ShippingMonitor the Open Order Report to ensure no shipments are missedShip items in systemCreate BOLs for shippingSchedule inbound and outbound freightCreate all necessary shipping documentsPrepare documentation for international shipments (Nafta, ISF Forms and Invoices)Manage customer pickup orders (CPUs)Receive all incoming shipments upon arrivalReceive and process RGAs and CIAs on the same day receivedMonitor and track emails frequently throughout the dayInteract directly with Customer Service team to keep informed of any potential shipping issuesMaintain paint booth, shipping area and equipmentTrack and maintain shipping supplies: paint, gloves, and foamSend out email at the end of evening confirming all items have been shippedIn the event a shipment was missed, include the SO #, Customer, Unit and reason why item(s) did not ship
