Inserso is an Equal Opportunity Employer.**Open Positions**Job Details ID 20941 Title SCCM Applications Packager Location Chandler, AZ Description The SCCM Applications Packager will be responsible for standardizing and centrally managing groups of computers and establishing and documenting defined baselines, system parameters and formats. They will manage the distribution of data, ensuring hardware and software systems compatibility, and ensure logs and alerts are available to assist in monitoring activities. They will be creating, testing and deploying SCCM applications in SCCM using PowerShell scripts.Core duties include, but are not limited to:* Thoroughly evaluate, validate, and execute application packages and validation cases, and ensure that SCCM packages provide detailed logs; document and provide evaluation results* Experience using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012/2016* Experience using SCCM reporting, including running compliance reports and creating customize reporting* Experience creating deployment packages for COTS and custom applications in an SCCM enterprise environment (30,000+ users)* Experience in validating and executing packages within the SCCM environment* As directed, create, update, deploy, troubleshoot, and remove objects in the SCCM environment comprised of, sites, distribution points (DPs), and clients* Create, update, and delete dynamic and static collections and reports for installation, modification, and removal of applications* Provide routine and out of cycle reports to the system administrators and management detailing the findings in the required reports* Work with appointed system & application owners to explain output and reports, and provide SME knowledge of findings* Effectively lead detailed technical discussions and develop and present required briefing materials to ensure the customers needs are met* Manage trouble ticket queues; perform trend and root-cause analysis to resolve groups of trouble tickets; document efforts in the trouble ticket system* Provide weekly activity reports describing activities accomplished* Communicate effectively both orally and written with customers, stakeholders, and technical specialistsRequired Skills:* Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience* Minimum of 5 years experience in IT support or related field* Minimum of 3 years experience using SCCM for Deployment or relevant IT System Administration* Experience and knowledge in building scripts with PowerShell and SQL (e.g., AutoIT, batch file scripting, Wise Script, WINbatch) for needs of unique application/package builds* Experience and hands-on experience with SQL queries and VB Script* Experience administrating Microsoft Windows Server environments (2008,2012, 2016, 2019)* Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop OS Win10* Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification processPreferred Skills:* ITIL v4 certified* Experience supporting DHS or other similar federal agencies* Experience with Microsoft Windows Installer to deploy multiple custom applications, Cumulative Updates and Service pack* Relevant technical certifications (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.)* Administering and Deploying System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Certification (or ability to obtain it within 90-days of start)**Application Form****E-Verify Notification**E-Verify is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
