SUMMARYThe Summer Analyst is responsible for the following functions:The Summer Analyst will support the Marketing team and report to the Head of North America Relationship Management. The Analyst will cover a workload which includes both on-going responsibilities to run existing processes and project leverage (research, analytics, materials prep, etc.).

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the Regional Heads of the Americas Relationship Management team and other team members, who are responsible for marketing all of Ares’ strategies to prospective and current institutional investors.Manage and maintain the Regional RM team’s Salesforce data, including updating records and pulling activity reports, fundraise summaries, and prospect tracking reports.Organize, plan and prepare materials for fundraising roadshows, meetings and calls with portfolio managers and senior leadership. Responsible for preparing briefing memos, agendas, and customized client materials.Track and analyze investor mandates and allocation preferences, and conduct quantitative and qualitative market and competitor research to produce investor demand assessments identifying key prospects ahead of fund launches and fundraising roadshows.Keep the Regional RM team organized by tracking and ensuring all upcoming deliverables are met by the requisite deadline.Lead performance reporting and measurement initiatives for the Regional RM team, via the delivery of weekly activity and fund pipeline reports, fundraising summaries, and roadshow campaign trackers.Prepare any materials for Regional meetings, as needed.Distribute a summary of meeting notes, as needed.Responsible for tracking client contacts and meetings with investors and potential investors, including maintenance of Salesforce system, distribution of conference and meeting notes, and other organizational tasks related to supporting the Regional RM team.Take on ad hoc projects and support all other teammates with their work as needed.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, preferably in a related field (Economics, Political Science, Finance, General Business or Management) with an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026.Required Knowledge:Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Experience Required:Have a general understanding of finance.Skills/Abilities:Requires flexibility, good communication skills, excellent writing skills and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks. Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze and articulate financial data, and make informed decisions. Work experience in a position requiring a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information.Location:New York, NY; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA.Duration:10 weeks.Compensation:Paid Internship – the total base salary (subject to change) is expected to be $90,000 (prorated over 10 weeks).Accommodations:Relocation Stipend.Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the search is no longer active.
