Nosco is looking for a Shipping and Receiving at our Lockport, NY facility.
As an employee owner in this position, you will function as a centralized point of contact for all things shipping and receiving, internal and external. Exceptional communication and customer service skills are critical for success. The ability to multitask is essential as this position requires managing time sensitive activities. Must have the ability to give direction and manage activities taking place on the manufacturing floor.
In this role, you will...
Analyze ship report and prioritize daily shipments.Update daily schedule with inputs required to execute daily commitments.Prepare packing lists and B.O.L. for all shipments.Manage dock dates for incoming raw materials and truck lines for outgoing shipments.Central point of contact for all internal and external customers.Keeps management aware of daily operations.Success factors...
Experience with basic cGMP and documentation in a manufacturing environment, preferredHigh school diploma or GEDFlexibility to work on any shift and overtime when needed, sometimes on short noticeCommit to good attendance and function with good, team-building behavior while operating within Nosco's policies and proceduresAbility to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, work at a computer for extended periods of time, and have manual dexterity for computer work; long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.What is in it for you...
