Interim Director of Infection Control - RN
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director for Interim to oversee Infection Control for hospital and specialty clinics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, patient monitoring, and infection control.
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
Oversee data management and reporting processes
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
Skills
Proficiency in medical terminology
Strong background in patient monitoring and infection control
Experience in data management and analysis
Knowledge of acute care practices
Ability to manage staff effectively
Familiarity with MDS assessments
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques
Requirements:
RN License: Any State - must apply for Alaska RN License prior to starting
Certifications: BLS, Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred, Certified Infection Control and Prevention (CIC)
9+ years of Nursing experience, recent experience in acute care or critical care setting
Native American Preference:
