mtheory provides artist managers with services, support, and capabilities across a wide range of disciplines, including marketing, touring, live event production, financing, digital services, and label services. Our manager clients include LeftRight (Jelly Roll), UROK (Liam Gallagher), BackForty (Shakey Graves) and many more. Based in New York, Los Angeles, and Nashville, mtheory offers artist managers a platform to build their businesses and enhance their artists' careers.
Our ideal digital intern is someone who lives on social media. Someone able to pinpoint a trend before it goes global, loves coming up with an original content strategy and brainstorming creative ideas, and is not afraid to dig into data analytics and tracking. An interest in advertising and influencer marketing is also a plus!
ResponsibilitiesSupport digital marketing and client teams with day-to-day activitiesAttend and contribute to meetings and brainstorming sessionsPerform critical global and regional streaming analysis for client projects using Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists, Chartmetric, and SoundchartsConduct vital artist research, including social network analysis, music platform analysis, touring history analysis, and online properties analysisPreferred Skills
Passionate about music of all genresFluency in social media and digital streaming platforms (e.g. Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)High energy, positive attitude, enthusiasm and a desire to learnA self-starter who can take direction but work independentlyUnderstanding of reading and reporting analytics in Google Sheets / ExcelFamiliarity with investigative analysis and brainstorming content ideasPrevious internship experience in the industry is beneficialPosition Information
