Sensata Interns have the unique opportunity to work on a technical project in our IT Organization. Throughout the internship experience, you will receive direct feedback from peers and managers, engage with other interns in the program, and will have multiple learning opportunities through Lunch and Learn presentations and training courses. Our Intern Program is inclusive to all our US sites and is designed to give each intern a concentrated view of what it is like to be an engineer at Sensata.
As an IT Intern possible responsibilities could include:
Ownership of IT projects and initiativesLead technical project initiatives including interface with global teamsDeveloping and maintaining technology documentationWork with vendors and other technical resources to identify and resource problemsParticipate in requirements gathering and documentationWork along with IT and business for test cases, review, and testing of project deliverablesApply core IT concepts to resolve problems that ariseDesirable skills:
Working knowledge and concepts of Applications development and lifecycleAbility to learn quickly and communicate with other IT team membersStrong communication and documentation skillsRequirements:
Must be currently pursuing B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or similar from an accredited programSmarter Together
