We currently have an opening for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk.

What you will do:

Shall support the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Global Food Safety Initiative system at Oregon Spice Company.Responsible for understanding and following, GMP, SOP, and SSOP.Accurately and legibly record information on company documents.Print purchase orders and match to received goods.Inspect product for damage, reject if badly damaged or punctured.Verify correct product, reject if incorrect.Rejected or damaged product must be noted on trucking company's Bill Of Lading before freight is signed for. Notify supervisors when rejecting shipments.Sign for incoming freight.Inspect delivery truck and fill out Clean Truck Affidavit.Verify correct weight of incoming products, notify Purchasing if inaccurate.Log received products.Notify Warehouse Manager and Technical Services of product irregularities.Forward incoming Bill of Lading, Packing List, P.O. sheets and Clean Truck Affidavit to Purchasing.Place product in storage and rearrange placement as necessary for efficient warehousing.Assist Production workers in locating product.Assist Will Call customers with loading freight.Process UPS shipments.Check packing list against items being shipped. Verify accuracy of outgoing shipment documentation.Complete Bill of Lading for outgoing shipments.Call Common Carriers to arrange pickup of outgoing shipments.Inspect outgoing trucks for clean condition.Load outgoing trucks.What you will bring:
