Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Audio Visual Engineer to join our team. The senior engineer takes on more complex projects, oversees the design and implementation of AV systems, and ensures that projects meet high standards of quality and performance. Often leads a team of AV engineers, provides mentorship, and may be involved in training junior engineers.Responsibilities
Involved in project planning, budgeting, and client interactions. They ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.Install and set up audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video screens.Possesses a deeper understanding of AV technologies and systems and is capable of troubleshooting complex issues.Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support.Create and interpret schematics for audio-visual setups.Conduct software troubleshooting for integrated systems.Ensure all installations meet safety standards and regulations.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree: Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Certifications: CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), CTS-I (Certified Technology Specialist-Installation), or other AVIXA certifications are highly valued.Project Experience: Proven track record of managing and executing complex AV projects, including design, installation, and troubleshooting.Minimum of 5+ years in the AV industry.Strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.Expertise in AV system components like video projectors, sound systems, video walls, and control systems.Knowledge of cabling techniques for audio-visual setups.Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.Previous experience in field service or maintenance roles is a plus.Job Type : Full-timePay : $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearLicense/Certification :
