Principal Cybersecurity Analyst or Sr Principal Cybersecurity Analyst

based out of

Chantilly, VA.What You’ll get to Do:Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations. This includes compliance audits and vulnerability assessments. Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks, supporting certification and accreditation of systems. Document the results of Certification and Accreditation activities and prepare the system Security Plans.Applicant needs to be familiar with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the process of accrediting a system through it as well as the nuances present in applying RMF. Familiarity with NIST800.53rev4, CNSS-1253, National Security Memorandum 8 (NSM-8), and Zero Trust Architecture/Networking (ZTA/N) concepts is required. Experience with network monitoring and vulnerability detection tools such as Nessus, Rapid7, Splunk, and strong competency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary.Principal Cybersecurity AnalystBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experienceMust be a U.S. Citizen with a CURRENT TS/SCI clearance with ACTIVE PolyExperience reviewing technical security assessments of computing environmentsExperience implementing the Risk Management Framework Process (RMF)Experience supporting the A&A process for system accreditationSr Principal Cybersecurity AnalystBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experienceMust be a U.S. Citizen with a CURRENT TS/SCI clearance with ACTIVE PolyExperience reviewing technical security assessments of computing environmentsExperience implementing the Risk Management Framework Process (RMF)Experience supporting the A&A process for system accreditationPreferred Qualifications:CISSP, CASP, or other IT security-related certificationsExperience using Rapid7 or Tenable Nessus applicationsBackground in Technical Writing or Instructional Systems DesignPrivileged/Power-user knowledge in Microsoft Windows, Enterprise Linux, or Cloud computing infrastructure like AWS or Microsoft AzureNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company.Salary Range:
