Some of what you'll be doing:

You will create strategies and make decisions regarding the direction of Seattle Tacoma International Airport's (SEA) international air service development and route network.

You will lead, develop, and plan the outline of unique and creative Joint Airline Promotional Programs for SEA for all existing international airline customers.

You and your team will coordinate and plan in-person events for global partners, including galas, dinners, gate events, and meetings.

You will direct and oversee a team of managers and external consultants in creating business cases and air service proposals.

You will be the chief negotiator with key international airline decision-makers.

You will travel extensively to negotiate potential air service implementation and propose enhancement changes to existing operations.

You will develop and present information as a subject matter expert on international route development.

You will maintain the relationship between the Port, many international airlines, and businesses operating at SEA.

You must understand those nations' cultures and laws and how to respectfully conduct and foster business relationships.

Who you are:

Experienced:

You have six (6) years of experience creating and developing airline service and three (3) years of experience supervising staff.

Desired:

We hope you have experience creating and developing international airline services and a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Properties/Real Estate, or Business Administration.

You are an expert in current global airline challenges and international bilateral treaty requirements.

What else you need to know:

Work Schedule:

Your regular work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week).

Work Environment:

Your work will occur in a hybrid/in-office setting at Management’s discretion.

Washington State Residency Requirement:

Employees must establish a residence in Washington State within 30 days of their first day of employment.

Security Requirements:

You will/must pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check.
