Position Information

Position Overview

This is a non-management software development position. Developers in this position have software development responsibilities for one or more HealthStream products. Serves as a self-sufficient member of a software development team. This role requires 3 days a week at our Nashville Capitol View office.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.

Inform complexity estimates for proposed software application features and enhancementsProgram new applications, features, and enhancements, including application code and database queriesExecute integrations with third-party software systemsAuthor and maintain automated tests for software applications to safeguard qualityInvestigate, diagnose, and mitigate software applications failures and defectsMeasure, record, and maintain a standardized set of metrics for software code qualityMonitor and support as necessary the deployment of software applications to productionProvide consultations for other software developers working in his areas of subject matter expertiseAdvise Quality Assurance regarding how to test software application features, enhancements, and defect fixesQualifications

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Computer Science preferred. Commensurate experience or advanced industry technical certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.) may substitute.2.5+ years experience in Software DevelopmentQualifications
