The JobThe Sales Director is responsible for leading, managing, and motivating a team of Account Executives and Account Managers to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets across new business and existing account expansion. The Sales Director is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing the NuHarbor sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Principal Responsibilities

Strategically and tactically lead a team of Account Executives and Account Managers, leading, coaching, and mentoring them to achieve sales targets and objectives.

Accountable for delivering an accurate forecast.

Develop and iterate on renewals sales motion, building out the process, and managing expectations and timelines with the team.

Collaborate across the sales organization to identify, qualify, and build opportunities.

Engage with clients to understand their security requirements and challenges.

Recommend cybersecurity solutions aligned with client needs.

Assist in developing proposals and statements of work.

Provide coaching and guidance throughout the sales cycle to deliver a high level of consultative selling.

Cultivate strong relationships with clients, strategic partners, and security professionals.

Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the sales team.

Collaborate with Client Success teams to understand realized client outcomes and possible needs ahead of renewal activities.

Stay informed about industry trends, threat landscapes, and emerging technologies.

Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development for the team.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of experience in a related technology field and relevant industry certifications

Ten (10) years or more experience in cybersecurity, Information Technology, Sales in a technical field.

Five (5) years or more experience leading sales or consulting teams; developing a team and providing coaching and mentorship.

Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating the impact of complex technical concepts into business value for clients

Experience with CRM software

Must be a citizen of the United States

Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain vehicle insurance

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years HubSpot experience

Professional cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC)

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices

Proven leadership in cybersecurity sales

Work Location

Headquarters in Colchester, VT. Hybrid options available.

Travel

Significant travel to client locations, events to attend training, and professional conferences.
