The Director of Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. This hybrid/remote position requires a deep technical expertise in server and cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and data center operations.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute infrastructure strategies that align with organizational goals. Provide leadership and direction to a diverse IT team, fostering innovation and collaboration.Server & Cloud Management:
Oversee server infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud environments (AWS or Azure). Manage database systems and ensure robust performance and scalability.Operating Systems & Virtualization:
Direct the administration of UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems. Manage VMware and Citrix environments for efficient virtualization and application delivery.Networking & Security:
Supervise LAN/WAN networks, firewall management, and network security. Ensure robust protection for all infrastructure components.Systems Management:
Oversee Active Directory, Exchange, and other critical systems. Implement and manage backup systems, storage solutions, and data center operations.ITIL & Compliance:
Apply ITIL best practices to enhance IT service management and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Client Computing & Telecommunications:
Manage client computing environments, telecommunications systems, voice services, and call center systems to ensure seamless operations and user satisfaction.Qualifications:Experience:
At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including server infrastructure, cloud environments (AWS or Azure), UNIX/Linux, and Windows.Technical Expertise:
Proficient in VMware, Citrix, LAN/WAN, firewall management, Active Directory, Exchange, security systems, backup systems, and data center operations.Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and mentor IT teams, manage large-scale infrastructure projects, and drive strategic initiatives.ITIL Knowledge:
Strong understanding of ITIL systems and best practices.Cloud Proficiency:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is essential.Education:
