The OpportunityThis is an exceptional opportunity to lead and grow a significant portion of our power products business, driving strategy and execution for a portfolio that includes motor drivers and high-performance power management ICs. As VP of Power Products, you will have global responsibility for P&L, roadmap development, customer engagement, and overall team leadership. You will be a key driver of innovation, ensuring that Allegro remains at the forefront of power semiconductor technology and market leadership.

What You Will Do

Lead with Vision and Strategy: Develop and champion a compelling vision for the future of Allegro's power products, aligning with our corporate strategy and capitalizing on emerging market trends.

Drive Growth and Profitability: Own the P&L for the Power Products business unit, developing and executing strategies to expand our market share and maximize profitability.

Shape the Technology Roadmap: Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales to define a technology roadmap that aligns with customer needs and positions Allegro for sustained market leadership.

Champion Customer Focus: Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, understanding their evolving requirements and ensuring Allegro delivers exceptional value.

Cultivate a High-Performing Team: Lead and inspire a global team of talented engineers, product line managers, and business development professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Drive Operational Excellence: Implement processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective operations across all aspects of the business unit.

Be a Visible Leader: Represent Allegro MicroSystems at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership in power semiconductor solutions.

Your Leadership Profile

You have 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record of success in the power electronics market.

Strong track record of growing product line year on year on both revenue and profitability.

You possess a deep technical understanding of power management ICs and related technologies.

You have a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies, driving growth and profitability in a dynamic market.

You have a strong customer orientation, with experience in building and managing relationships with key accounts.

You are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership and board members.

You are passionate about innovation and driving technological advancements in the power semiconductor industry.

BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering (MBA – nice to have).
