Job Summary:Internal Medicine Residency Program Director Opportunity in Inverness, FL
HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking an exceptional physician to join our Internal Medicine residency as Program Director.
Qualified Candidates:
Per the ACGME's formal requirements to be considered for Program Director, applicants must have:
Specialty expertise and at least three (3) years of documented educational and/or administrative experience
Ongoing clinical activity
Documented scholarly activity in the form of research, publications, poster presentations, journals, book chapters, etc. within the past five (5) years
Minimum of 50% FTE of non-clinical time will be dedicated to program administration duties
Responsible for administration and operations; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action; supervision of residents; and resident education in the context of patient care
Must be American Board-certified in internal medicine (ABIM or AOBIM)
